Brooks Nader and Sisters Set for Bold Polar Adventure for Women's Health
Brooks Nader and her sisters are set to embark on a polar expedition in the Arctic Circle, aiming to support women's health research. The adventure will challenge their physical abilities as they face extreme cold and constant daylight.

The Nader sisters, Brooks, Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane, will participate in a week-long journey in Svalbard, Norway, this April. Collaborating with institutions like Space Prize Foundation and NYU Langone Health, the expedition explores physiological changes women experience in harsh conditions.
"I've endured cold shoots but nothing compares to an Arctic expedition," Brooks shared. She emphasized the importance of supporting women's health alongside her sisters.
Research Goals
The study seeks to understand how isolation and altered light cycles impact women’s hormone levels, sleep patterns, and overall bodily adjustments. "Conditions mimic those found in space," stated a press release detailing the research's focus.
Led by Dr. Sairam Parthasarathy from the University of Arizona, the project includes behavioral and stress-related analyses by experts at NYU Langone Health.

Brooks acknowledged Grace Ann's potential success on this voyage due to her public health expertise. Despite anticipated struggles with sleep and temperature, she believes they won’t abandon the mission prematurely.
Nader hopes the experience strengthens them both mentally and physically while contributing meaningful insights into women's health under extreme conditions.
