Courtroom Drama: Juror in Lindsay Clancy Trial Allegedly Ignores Legal Instructions

Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has called for one juror to be removed after it was revealed they allegedly “refused” to listen to the law on reasonable doubt.“The court has an instruction from the foreperson of that juror that’s been working for a week now saying that there is one juror who refuses to listen the to law that you’ve given him or her on reasonable doubt and I suggest respectfully that the soft instruction that you gave them at the sidebar ‘Can you listen to the law as I instruct you?’ does not focus on the issue. The question is not sufficient enough,” Reddington argued, speaking to Sullivan. Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has called for one juror to be removed after it was revealed they allegedly “refused” to listen to the law on reasonable doubt. USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect“It does not allow any foundation for a motion to remove the juror who refuses to accept your instructions on the law on reasonable doubt.“If we come back here in a half an hour with a mistrial because of the juror who has just spurned the instructions of this court, that’s a shame, that’s a real shame,” he said. Here’s the latest on Lindsay Clancy’s trial for allegedly murdering her three children: Judge in Clancy trial gives stern warning on reasonable doubt, sends jury to deliberate after 4th note Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer drops courtroom bombshell — claims one juror ‘refuses to listen to the law’ Lindsay Clancy jury struggling to reach a verdict — experts reveal the most likely outcome Miranda Devine: TikTok feminists hijacked Lindsay Clancy’s trial — their circus act risks adding injustice to the suffering her kids endured “That’s why I object to the court’s ruling. I request that we have further inquiry. My motion is to remove this juror who refuses to listen to your instruction on reasonable doubt.”However prosecutor Jennifer Sprague insisted “there is no way to determine what the deliberations are, who is correct, who is incorrect, nor should we attempt to because that is part of deliberations.”“I think what Your Honor has done by asking each juror if they are able to follow the law and then giving the instruction on reasonable doubt is appropriate,” Sprague said. But Judge William Sullivan denied Reddington’s bid to have the juror removed. The judge sent the jurors back to the jury room to continue deliberation. They’ve so far been deliberating for more than 35 hours. This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

Lastly, he allegedly “unlawfully detained [the victim] without legal authority and in violation of the personal liberty” of the victim,” according to the details of the false imprisonment charge in the docs.Page Six has reached out to Zolciak’s rep for comment. The day before he was indicted, Biermann begged to be released from jail in documents filed by his lawyer, Jason B. Sheffield, who cited the teen’s good character, strong academics, football achievements and scholarship offers.“He is a high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement and regularly participates in extracurricular and community-based activities,” Sheffield said.Biermann (seen here with his family, including his parents, Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, and his siblings) was also accused of “making physical contact ” with the victim’s “primary genital area” and “unlawfully detaining her.” InstagramBiermann begged to be released from jail in documents filed by his lawyer, Jason B. MiamiPIXX/VAEM / BACKGRIDBiermann — born Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr. — was arrested on Aug. 17 after a female classmate — who described herself as his “girlfriend’s best friend” — accused him of sexually assaulting her in the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, Page Six previously confirmed. The girl alleged that, while in a co-ed sauna, Biermann forced himself on her and attempted “multiple times to have sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants,” despite her rejections. She also accused Biermann of forcing her to provide oral sex before he digitally penetrated her vagina, claiming that when she “finally managed to get away from him … he pulled up his pants and left.”The girl was ultimately examined at the North Fulton hospital in Georgia. The April 24 examination, per the police report, showed no evidence of male DNA in her mouth or vagina.Biermann denied the allegations via his lawyer, Jason Sheffield, who claimed in a statement to Page Six Friday that his client is “100% innocent.”Scheffield also alleged Biermann “tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher,” and claimed he has “evidence of other prior false allegations by the alleged victim.”Zolciak shares Biermann, and multiple other children, with estranged husband Kroy (The exes are seen here in Atlanta in 2017). BACKGRIDZolciak — who shares Biermann and his siblings Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12, with estranged husband Kroy— also blasted the “reckless and deeply troubling” allegations on Aug. 21. “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum’s rep told Page Six.“We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”If you or someone you know is affected by any of the issues raised in this story, call the Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-330-0226. Why Jackson Olson and Emma Slater Are Their Own Biggest Rivals on DWTS New

Why Jackson Olson and Emma Slater Are Their Own Biggest Rivals on DWTS

Savannah Bananas’ Jackson Olson and pro dancer Emma Slater are staying in their own lane on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars. “It sounds really cliché, but I feel like we both feel the same in that we feel like we are going to be the people that we are going to focus on the most. Meaning like, we are our own biggest competition," Slater, 37, exclusively told Us on Wednesday, September 2, after the full cast for the upcoming season was revealed. “It just so happens that I feel like we both have the same mentality. We’re not really looking at anybody else.” But if she had to pick someone else to keep her eye on this season, a few people did come to mind. “I mean, Jenna Dewan. I think Harry Shum Jr. is going to be amazing. I think Tatyana [Ali] is going to be amazing. I cannot wait,” Slater told Us. “I’m excited to see Hailey [Bills] and Sarah Jane [Nader] dance together. That’s going to be really cool, too. [There] could be a lot of people. Taylor Hanson. It’s going to be good.” Olson, 28, was one of the first celebrities announced to be competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this season, but fans had to wait to learn who he would be dancing with. As the premiere date approaches, Olson told Us that he’s more nervous to perform on DWTS than he is about playing Banana Ball. “Obviously, we haven’t even done it yet, and so that’s why it’s nerve-wracking,” he explained. “I think after week one, once we get out there and we see there are three judges judging you — obviously, Emma has done it. I’ve never been judged by anyone. Other than a coach being like, ‘That was good,’ or ‘That was bad.’ It’s like, no, they are giving actual scores, so that’s what I’m nervous for.” And while he laces up his dancing shoes, Olson will have the support of his Savannah Bananas teammates. “They were so excited. They’re super excited to meet Emma, too, and see what we do on the field, too. ‘Cause obviously, we are going to have to do some fun entertainment things. We’re going to bring the ballroom to the field a little bit. So we’ll see,” he said, before teasing fans will “100 percent” see Banana moves in the DWTS ballroom. “I don’t know what they are yet, but yeah.” Dancing With the Stars season 35 kicks off with a two-night premiere on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.

Ariana Madix Defends Love Island USA Stars Amid Reunion Backlash New

Ariana Madix Defends Love Island USA Stars Amid Reunion Backlash

Ariana Madix is defending the season 8 cast of Love Island USA after being sent hateful messages following the show's divisive reunion. "If you ever feel the need to leave negative comments toward Islanders, log tf [the f***] off and go outside," Ariana, 41, who has hosted the Peacock show since 2024, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 2. She continued: "Especially if you think my comment section is a safe place to do so. Fyi it is NOT." Ariana's social media statement came days after Peacock released the reunion special, which addressed the biggest drama from the most recent season of the show. Ariana and Andy Cohen cohosted the reunion, which reunited "this season’s winners, fan-favorite couples and this year’s bombshells for an up-close-and-personal look back at their experience in the Villa," according to a press release. Bryce Alakai, Trinity Tatum, Aniya Harvey, Carl Schmidt, Melanie Moreno, Sincere Rhea, Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou were front and center alongside Dylan Wrona, Kenzie Annis, KC Chandler, Tierra Davis, Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani. Elsewhere in the show, Caleb McDaniel, Jaiden Bacciocco, Amora Robinson, Sydney Eugene, Ronnie Gunter, Gal Tshnieder, Jen Terry, Chay Nehra, Gabriel Vasconcelos, Sol Dean, Beatriz Hatz and Sean Reifel discussed their time in Fiji as well. Ahead of the special, Ariana spoke to Us about why she preferred the offscreen silence from the season 8 Islanders before sitting down for the reunion. "I feel personally that it's helpful for me," she exclusively told Us in August about the benefits of having the Islanders stay in the weeks since filming wrapped on the show. Ariana admitted it was "hard" to "keep up with" every development for each Islander once they leave the villa. The season 8 cast’s step back from press, however, left more excitement for the reunion special. "It is hard for me to keep up when everything is out there," she added. "I want to be able to keep up because, of course, I want to be able to ask the best questions." The reunion left some viewers divided, however, due to the arguments between the Islanders. Kayda Bosse, specifically, received backlash after she questioned Jaiden Bacciocco’s decision to sleep with Caleb McDaniel once cameras wrapped. “I don't think I was [a mean girl],” Kayda said on the Tuesday, September 1, episode of the “In Your Dreams” podcast. “I just stand on business, and people don't like that.” Love Island USA is currently streaming on Peacock.

Kim Zolciak's Son KJ Pleads for Jail Release Amid Serious Allegations

Kim Zolciak’s 15-year-old son, KJ Biermann, is begging to be released from jail, citing good character, strong academics, football achievements and scholarship offers.Biermann’s attorney, Jason B. Sheffield, filed documents in the Superior Court of Fulton County on Wednesday requesting a bond hearing for his client, who has been locked up at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center since his Aug. 17 arrest for felony aggravated sodomy and felony aggravated sexual battery.“The accused turned 15 years old in May. He is a high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement and regularly participates in extracurricular and community-based activities,” Sheffield argued in the filing obtained Thursday by Page Six.“He is an accomplished football player who has received scholarship offers based upon his athletic ability.”KJ Biermann (pictured in his Aug. 17 mugshot) is begging to be released from jail. Alpharetta Police DepartmentVia his attorney, Biermann (pictured in May) cited good character, strong academics, football achievements and scholarship offers in documents filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County on Wednesday. kimzolciakbiermann/InstagramSheffield went on to reference Biermann’s “substantial” ties to his “family and community,” stating that he “maintains a home and relationship” with both Zolciak, 48, and dad Kroy Biermann, 40.He also has “five siblings” and is “surrounded by an established community of extended family, friends, coaches, teachers and others who remain actively involved in his life and continue to support him and his family during the pendency of these serious allegations.”According to Sheffield, the aforementioned “are not merely favorable attributes” but rather “ties that bind [KJ] to his home, his school, his family and this community,” providing “structure, supervision, accountability and compelling reasons for him to remain here and comply with every condition imposed by this court.”Sheffield also stressed that KJ “participated in the development of evidence in his defense, including voluntarily submitting to a polygraph examination.” The results of that test, Sheffield claimed, “showed no deception when answering the two relevant questions concerning the alleged conduct.”“He is a high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement and regularly participates in extracurricular and community-based activities,” Biermann’s attorney argued. Šokantno prisluškivanje u Srbiji: Ko zapravo stoji iza skandala?

Foto: Goran Srdanov/Nova.rs autor: 03. sep. It was a short step from sound cannon in March 2025 to fully operational spyware campaign against key opposition and student activists in #Serbia. There is zero excuse for @MartaKosEU & @vonderleyen to visit Belgrade 🇷🇸 in the coming month and create a false sense of normalcy. https://t.co/HptUYCAlec— Vladimir Prebilič (@VPrebilic) September 3, 2026Advokat Jovan Rajić u izjavi za Novu objašnjava na koji je način režim SNS u ovom slučaju pogazio zakone i ljudska prava studenata i opozicije. Kurti's Unexpected Move: Community Talks Spark New Political Tensions New

Kurti's Unexpected Move: Community Talks Spark New Political Tensions

PV: 866

Jenna Dewan's Dance Background Sparks Debate on DWTS New

Jenna Dewan's Dance Background Sparks Debate on DWTS

Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy has seen the feedback about his season 35 partner, Jenna Dewan — and her past dance experience — but he isn’t dwelling on the backlash. Chmerkovskiy, 40, posted an Instagram Reel on Wednesday, September 2, to celebrate the start of the hit ABC show’s latest season. "Some stuff I’m doin lately. I have sooooooo much stuff to share, I promise to be even more transparent this season and take you along for the ride of a lifetime," he wrote. The social media post included a screenshot of a message Chmerkovskiy received, which read, "How are you going to deal with all of the 'she's already a dancer' comments?" In response, Chmerkovskiy clarified he wouldn’t be focusing on the negativity. "I won't [deal with it]. Same way I didn't deal with so many other comments for so many years," he replied. "I can't control how others feel about me or mine, but I can control how much love and effort I put into my work." Dewan's casting has left DWTS fans divided, as many have pointed out her past training. The actress began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and also scored her breakout role in the 2006 dance movie Step Up. “I do not know how to ballroom dance," she told Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday. “Let’s be clear. It’s two different languages." Dewan, 45, said the DWTS experience has already been a challenge, adding, “There’s parts of my dance training that’s helpful, obviously. I’ve learned choreography, I can perform, but there is a certain sense of unlearning for me. It’s a new technique, brand new technique." She continued: "It almost threw me off, initially, because I had to unlearn a lot of — I don’t want to say bad habits — but just habits of the style that I’m used to.” Dewan said her dance background made her “a little more nervous” to compete in some ways, because ballroom “feels really foreign.” “It’s not like you’re giving me a style that I’ve done — I can go out there and do that. It has its advantages, but it also has its challenges," she noted. "But that was part of why I wanted to do it. I really wanted to challenge myself.” Chmerkovskiy also weighed in on the public reception to Dewan joining the competition. “First of all, it’s naive to think that this show is just about dance. It’s about the human experience and the human journey and how much you’re willing to reveal yourself," he said. "Dance is a vehicle for us to find out more about these people — and I think that’s our advantage.” He continued: “The way I approach things is that you’re only as good as the thing that you’ve never done, so I’m going to push her and push us to showcase to the world something they haven’t seen from her yet. That’s a challenge in itself, because we’ve seen her at the highest form of dance and what that expression can look like." Dancing With the Stars season 35 kicks off with a two-night premiere on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
