Kirsten Storms' Ex Takes Unexpected Step Amid 'Mental Health Crisis' New

Kirsten Storms' Ex Takes Unexpected Step Amid 'Mental Health Crisis'

Brandon Barash has secured an emergency restraining order against his ex-wife, "General Hospital" star Kirsten Storms. Barash claims Storms is experiencing a mental health crisis impacting their 12-year-old daughter’s safety, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. Court Documents and Allegations The judge approved the request after Barash expressed concerns for their daughter's well-being. The documents reveal that post-divorce in 2016, both parties relocated to Tennessee, where Storms was allegedly sued by her landlord for eviction. Barash claims Storms has had unstable housing conditions from September 2024 to June 2025 and frequently changed hotels due to fears of being followed. He also stated that she owed him $5,000 he loaned her to prevent her car repossession. Mental Health Concerns In May 2025, Storms reportedly told Barash about experiencing delusions and hallucinations and expressed doubts about caring for their child during her parenting time. She was hospitalized and placed on psychiatric hold but allegedly minimized these events after her release. Barash further alleged that Storms may be abusing Adderall or other substances, based on information from a friend. He noted incidents of her hearing voices and having emotional meltdowns. Legal Proceedings Storms currently sees their daughter under supervised visitation. Barash has requested the court mandate a mental health evaluation for Storms. The judge will review the restraining order's status later this week, as reported by TMZ. Kirsten Storms took a leave from "General Hospital" last summer for brain surgery and returned after six months away from the show.
