Jordyn Woods Defends Jaden Smith's Role at Her Wedding
Jordyn Woods addressed critics who questioned why Jaden Smith was “with all of the girls” at her star-studded wedding to Karl-Anthony Towns.
The Woods by Jordyn founder took to TikTok Saturday with a collage of memories she and the “Karate Kid” actor have shared from their early childhood until now.
“‘Why is Jaden with all of the girls? And at the bridal shower? And helping Karl with his shoes?'” she wrote atop the video.
“Because he’s never missed an important moment in my life,” Woods, 28, added.
In the caption, the former reality star said she was “so grateful to have the epitome of a day ONE.”
“From diapers to marriage. I can’t wait for his wedding one day but until then 🤣!!!” she wrote.
“He’s never missed a birthday, showing up at my dads funeral and making us all laugh, to now getting married. I’m so lucky I’ve never had to know a life without our friendship,” Woods concluded.
Though Smith, also 28, was not part of Woods’ bridal party, he posed with the bridesmaids and the bride at the wedding and attended the bridal shower.
The “Pursuit of Happyness” star also played a key role in Woods’ lavish wedding to Towns.
Smith — who is the first-ever men’s creative director for Maison Christian Louboutin — revealed that he created a custom pair of size 20 Louboutin shoes for the New York Knicks player to wear on his wedding day.
“My Best Friend Got Married And I Made Karl Size 20 Red Bottoms,” the actor wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos from the celebration.
“Jordyn I Love You So Much Congratulations Karl I Love You Bro Keep The Swag On High,” he added.
Woods and Smith have been friends since they were young children.
Jordyn’s late father, John Woods, worked in television and had ties to Jaden’s famous dad, Will Smith.
