Tragedy Strikes Shakira’s Team Before Major Brazil Concert
A crew member died during the setup for Shakira's upcoming concert in Brazil. The accident happened on April 26, and the individual later passed away in the hospital.
Incident Details
The organizers of the event confirmed that the worker was injured while assembling stage structures. Emergency services were called to transport the injured person to a hospital where they unfortunately died.
Witnesses reported seeing people running as the stage structure fell, trapping a man underneath. Efforts were made to pull him out quickly.
Response and Reactions
The Rio de Janeiro Military Fire Brigade stated that the worker suffered crushing injuries to his lower limbs and received preliminary care from military personnel before being taken to Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital.
The event organizers have expressed their support for the victim’s family and the company responsible for employing him. Shakira has not commented on the incident yet.
