Prince Harry provided comfort to a fellow traveler on a flight from Sydney. Justine Parkhurst was returning to North Carolina after her grandmother’s funeral when she met Prince Harry in first class.

An Unexpected Encounter

Parkhurst, emotional from the funeral, found solace when Prince Harry consoled her during the flight. She shared their interaction on Facebook, mentioning his kind words: “She already knows.”

The Parkhursts were unexpectedly upgraded to first class due to a last-minute change of flights, placing them near Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their Australian visit.

Flight Companions

Initially unaware of who was beside her, Parkhurst described tears rolling down her face as she realized it was Prince Harry. Meghan Markle was seated across the aisle with security nearby.

Despite visible security, the couple appeared approachable and interacted warmly with passengers. Parkhurst noted their kindness, saying they were “very nice” throughout the flight.

A Memorable Experience

Reflecting on the encounter, Parkhurst felt comforted by Prince Harry’s presence and believes her grandmother may have orchestrated their meeting for support during her grief journey.

The Duke and Duchess had concluded a four-day trip in Australia based near Sydney International Airport before the flight.
