Christian Hubicki Opens Up on His Post-Betrayal Status with Mike White
Christian Hubicki, a contestant on "Survivor 50," shared that fellow contestant Mike White has not spoken to him since the show ended. Despite sending White a lengthy apology for voting him out, Hubicki has not received a response.
Post-Show Dynamics
Hubicki explained that after being eliminated from the show, he reached out to White with an apology, recognizing that his actions might have hurt him. The two had participated in "Survivor: David vs. Goliath" in 2018, where Hubicki was voted off by White and Angelina Keeley, both of whom advanced to the final three.
Strategic Moves
On "Survivor 50," Hubicki had to make a difficult decision, ultimately eliminating both White and Keeley in back-to-back tribal councils to prevent them from aligning against him at the merge. He acknowledged the difficulty of this choice, especially as White is a dedicated fan of "Survivor."
Hopes for Reconciliation
Despite their current silence, Hubicki holds no ill will toward White and hopes they can eventually discuss the situation. He expressed that his respect for White remains strong and looks forward to possibly reconnecting in the future.
Hubicki also speculated that another "Survivor 50" contestant, Q Burdette, might appear in the upcoming season of "The White Lotus." According to Hubicki, Burdette's charisma would be an asset for the show's French setting.
"Survivor 50" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
