A man was arrested on murder charges following a fatal shooting outside an event hall in Longview, Washington. The incident took place during a gathering of about 200 people.

Murder Charges Filed

Andres Carrasco-Sanchez from Kelso faces two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths in the AWPPW Hall parking lot on April 11. His arrest followed a police chase the same evening.

Incident Description

The shooting occurred as the venue hosted a quinceañera, as reported by local news sources. Officers found two deceased individuals upon arrival but have not yet released their identities.

A pursuit ensued after officers spotted a vehicle departing the scene. During the chase, Carrasco-Sanchez discarded a semiautomatic handgun, which was later retrieved.

Arrest and Aftermath

Carrasco-Sanchez returned to the event hall's parking lot, fled on foot, and was captured shortly thereafter. It remains unclear if he has legal representation or if any motive has been identified.
