Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott made a public appearance in New York City shortly after announcing they are expecting their first child. The couple attended an afterparty for the opening night of Abbott's Broadway play, Death of a Salesman.
Broadway Appearance
Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 40, appeared together at Katz's Deli following the play's opening at the Winter Garden Theatre. Abbott stars as Biff Loman in this revival of Arthur Miller's iconic work.
Pregnancy Announcement
The outing follows news that Plaza is pregnant, confirmed by her representative to People. The baby is expected this fall.
Relationship Timeline
Plaza and Abbott began dating rumors in July 2025 after being seen together outside New York City. They became more public with their relationship over time, attending events together such as a New York Knicks game.
The pair previously worked on the film Black Bear in 2020 and recently collaborated again in an Off-Broadway production.
Their romance blooms more than a year after Plaza’s estranged husband, Jeff Baena, passed away by suicide in January 2025. Plaza later shared her thoughts on dealing with grief during an August 2025 podcast interview.
