At the premiere of "The Christophers," McKellen commended Depp's acting skills and personality. He described him as effervescent, funny, and serious, contributing to an enjoyable filming experience.

McKellen mentioned that working with Depp felt like "a bit of a love fest" and appreciated the supportive atmosphere he fostered among actors.

The filming lasted only six days, during which McKellen played a ghost in the movie. He expressed satisfaction with his brief involvement.

"Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol" Set for Release

The film is directed by Ti West and will be released on November 13. It features Johnny Depp as Ebenezer Scrooge and Ian McKellen as Jacob Marley in this adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel.

The cast also includes Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Tramell Tillman, Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin, Charlie Murphy, Arthur Conti, and Ellie Bamber.
