Jasveen Sangha, 'Ketamine Queen,' Gets 15 Years in Matthew Perry Case!
Jasveen Sangha, known as the "Ketamine Queen," has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for her involvement in the death of 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry.
Role in Matthew Perry's Death
In September 2025, Sangha pleaded guilty to several charges, including distributing ketamine leading to Perry's death. Prosecutors accused her of selling drugs through intermediaries that reached Perry via his assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa.
On October 23, 2023, Iwamasa allegedly injected Perry with ketamine supplied by Sangha, resulting in his death. Perry was found dead on October 28 at his Los Angeles home.
Perry's Family and Legal Proceedings
Sangha continued selling drugs despite knowing the impact on Perry. This led the court to grant a maximum sentence upon the family's request for justice. Other individuals linked to the case include Erik Fleming and doctors Mark Chavez and Salvador Plasencia, who also faced legal actions.
Impact Statements
Debbie Perry, related through marriage to Matthew Perry's father, expressed the family's grief in a statement urging for a harsh sentence for Sangha. She highlighted the continued suffering caused by Sangha's actions.
The case underscores significant legal ramifications for others involved, with varying sentences imposed based on their roles in distributing ketamine linked to Perry’s death.
