Cole-Sapp responded to social media discussions about the cost of their lavish wedding ceremony. She assured the congregation, “The church didn’t pay for the wedding. Y’all stop lying.” Emphasizing her husband’s integrity, she added that he does not misuse church finances.

The couple married on March 20 at The Chosen Vessel Church in Fort Worth, Texas. The event was notable for its elaborate features, such as a helicopter entrance and multiple designer gowns. Cole-Sapp mentioned she personally funded the helicopter aspect.

Cole-Sapp stated they have other income sources outside their church roles. She emphasized that they do not rely on church money, saying, “Everybody’s not broke, and everybody doesn’t need the church’s money.”
