Offset Faces $100K Lawsuit from Detroit Casino Over Gambling Debt Allegations
Offset is facing a lawsuit over an alleged $100,000 debt with Detroit’s MotorCity Casino Hotel while also recovering from a recent altercation. The Atlanta rapper opened a credit line with the casino in March 2024, which left him with a debt.
Casino Dispute
The lawsuit claims that Offset defaulted on the debt when a withdrawal attempt by the casino failed due to insufficient funds. The casino is pursuing legal action for breach of contract and fraud after failing to reach an agreement with Offset.
Response from Offset's Team
A representative for Offset confirmed that efforts are underway to resolve the matter, indicating the issue is being addressed.
Recent Incident in Florida
Additionally, just days before this lawsuit, Offset was involved in an altercation outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida, resulting in a non-life-threatening leg injury. Lil Tjay was arrested during the incident but later released.
This financial challenge follows another resolved tax lien of $1.5 million. Despite ongoing recovery efforts, these events have added pressure to an already difficult period for Offset.
