Offset, the rapper, faces a lawsuit from a Detroit casino over an alleged six-figure debt, while also recovering from a recent shooting incident in Florida.

Detroit Casino Lawsuit

The MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit is suing Offset for breach of contract and fraud. The casino claims he incurred a $100,000 debt after opening a credit line in March 2024 to continue gambling. According to reports, there were insufficient funds in his account to cover this debt when the casino attempted to collect it. A representative for Offset has stated they are working towards resolving the issue.

Offset's Shooting Incident

On April 6, Offset was shot outside Florida’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Although he is now stable, investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Following this event, Lil Tjay was arrested but later released, facing charges unrelated to gun involvement.

Allegations and Responses

Lil Tjay denied involvement in the shooting and termed related allegations as "baseless.". After being released from jail on April 7, he publicly refuted claims that he attacked Offset. Meanwhile, Offset commented via social media dismissing the allegations against him.
