Judge Judy's Surprising Dating Advice Stuns TV Producer

Share Post

Judge Judy Sheindlin once surprised TV producer Fran Weinstein with unexpected dating advice. Weinstein, who interviewed the "Judy Justice" star multiple times, shared her story about a memorable encounter at Sheindlin's Connecticut home.

Unexpected Dating Advice

During a visit to Judge Judy's home, Weinstein asked for help finding a partner. As their friendship developed, she felt comfortable seeking advice from the celebrity judge. The two walked through the woods after filming when Weinstein asked, “Don’t you know anybody you can fix me up with?”

Judge Judy's response was surprising. She replied, “Franny, you don’t need a man. I’m going to show you what you need.” Rather than setting up a date, Sheindlin brought out a “shoebox-sized medieval receptacle.”

A Surprising Reveal

Inside the box was a .32 caliber pistol. Judy explained, “Franny, Jerry was gone last night. I put this under my pillow and slept like a baby,” shocking Weinstein with her unconventional advice.

Although Sheindlin later claimed she couldn't recall the incident, she described the advice as “brilliant.” For context, Sheindlin remarried her second husband Jerry Sheindlin in 1991 after divorcing him in 1990.
