Arizona Man Allegedly Confesses to Using Hammer and Knife on Parents

Jonathan Turk, an Arizona man, reportedly confessed to using a hammer and knife to fatally attack his parents, Fraser and Tina Turk. The incident occurred on March 31 when police discovered the bodies after Turk's call to 911.

Details of the Incident

According to reports, Jonathan Turk called the police around 6:29 p.m., admitting that he killed his parents due to anger over being put on medication. At the crime scene, officers found a hammer and knife disposed of in a trash can inside the home.

The father had at least one stab wound, while the mother sustained head injuries. Jonathan waited outside for the police as he stated during the 911 call.

Legal Proceedings

Prosecutors noted past mental health petitions filed by Turk's parents expressing concern about his mental stability. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9 with bond set at $2 million cash. Turk faces charges including two counts of first-degree and second-degree murder.
