Gracie Hunt Reveals the Sentimental Story Behind Her Engagement Ring

Share Post

Gracie Hunt's engagement ring is full of sentimental details, personally designed by her fiancé Derek Green. The couple got engaged in Mexico earlier this month.

Designing a Meaningful Ring

Gracie, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt and Tavia Shackles Hunt, shared that Derek collaborated with Lyles DeGrazier to create the ring. It's special because Gracie's mother's ring was also designed by Lyles' team.

The ring features an elongated cushion-cut diamond on an emerald-embellished band, a nod to Derek’s last name. Gracie noted it as a thoughtful touch.

Engraving Adds Personal Touch

Adding to its sentimentality, the ring has a personal engraving of one of Gracie’s favorite Bible verses inside the band, symbolizing their faith-based relationship.

A Relationship Years in the Making

Gracie and Derek first met at Arrowhead Stadium in 2017. Their friendship turned romantic in May 2025. They announced their engagement via Instagram on April 5, expressing their gratitude for love guided by faith.

“It was always you,” Gracie wrote alongside photos of the proposal, quoting Romans 8:28 to highlight the foundation of their relationship.
