Stefon Diggs Faces Lawsuit Right Before Super Bowl Spot
Stefon Diggs, the star wide receiver for the New England Patriots, is facing legal issues as a lawsuit has been filed against him just days before the Super Bowl LX.
The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, accuses Stefon of defamation and more. According to the legal documents, a man who used to work for Stefon alleges that Stefon accused him of stealing his Ferrari, which was actually stolen in Houston by third parties.
The man denies the theft allegations and claims that Stefon's false accusations have harmed his concierge and consulting business. He also states that members of Stefon's circle confronted him in Houston and Miami, demanding the return of gifts given by Stefon.
In January 2025, Stefon texted the man holding him "responsible and accountable for all actions of those around me." The situation escalated in December 2025 when the man was reportedly assaulted at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami by two men associated with Stefon, including his brother Trevon Diggs.
The man suffered various injuries, including a torn ACL, in the alleged attack. He is suing Stefon for defamation, civil conspiracy, and vicarious liability for the actions of those involved. Trevon is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
Stefon's camp has not responded to the allegations as of now.
