Arizona Sheriff Emotionally Reveals Update on Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is still hopeful for the safe return of Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who is currently missing.
During a press conference, authorities disclosed that they are treating the case as a possible kidnapping or abduction, now in its sixth day. A ransom note connected to Nancy’s disappearance is being taken very seriously due to the associated facts and a perceived link to Nancy.
Two deadlines were set for the demands made by the perpetrators. The first deadline has passed, and the next one is on Monday, February 9. However, no evidence of Nancy's well-being has been provided.
The family of the 54-year-old TV personality is deeply distressed and has made public appeals for Nancy’s safe return. Camron Guthrie, Savannah’s brother, specifically reached out to any potential abductors in a video message on Instagram.
Nancy, who was last seen on January 31 and reported missing the following day, is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities emphasize the importance of her daily medication for her safety, even though she does not have cognitive issues.
