Christopher "Kid" Reid, part of the iconic hip-hop duo Kid N' Play, recently underwent a heart transplant, giving him a new lease on life. Known for his distinctive high-top fade and the popular "House Party" movie series, Reid shared his journey on Good Morning America.

Initially attributing his symptoms of fatigue and shortness of breath to aging, Reid eventually sought medical attention when his condition worsened last summer. After a diagnosis of heart failure, Reid's cardiologist recommended a heart transplant due to his deteriorating health.
